Harvest Buffet has undergone a $12 million dollar makeover, the revamped restaurant now offers an international selection of dishes in a modern setting.
Food
Executive sous chef Jason Alcock walks me through the 5 different food stations of the restaurant. Each station has it’s own cuisine and is manned by several cooks and chefs. Part of the expensive renovation included the installation of a pizza oven and tandoor. Since I’m dining on a Sunday night, there’s also a selection of seafood laid out, the seafood spread is also available on Friday and Saturday nights.
With my first plate in hand, I make a beeline for the seafood spread. The oysters, prawns, mussels and pipis taste fresh and are flavourful. Unfortunately, the crab is still thawing and is too cold to handle.

Plate 2
For those looking for some protein, there’s salmon, chicken, beef and pork to choose from. Make sure you pair the meat with some crunchy diamond cut chips!

Plate 3
Remember the pizza oven and tandoor I mentioned earlier, well I’m glad they exist because they produce some incredible pizzas and naan bread.
Out of the all the food stations, I would have to pick the Indian station as my favourite, the array of curries combined with the killer naan bread really hit the spot for me!

Plate 4
If you have a sweet tooth, you will be delighted to know that Harvest Buffet has 3 chocolate fountains, 2 soft serve machines and a heap of sweets and cakes.

Drinks
Unlimited soft drinks can be purchased for the bargain price of $2.50 per person. Alcoholic drinks can be purchased from the bar that’s located near the entrance of the restaurant.
Service
A pet peeve of mine when it comes to buffets is returning to my seat and seeing that my plates have not been cleared, I’m happy to report that this never happened at Harvest Buffet!
Atmosphere
Having visited casino buffets in Las Vegas, I was prepared for dimly lit and shabby interiors. To my surprise, it’s clean and bright in the restaurant.
Verdict
Harvest Buffet is a great place to come with family or friends if you want to stuff yourself silly.
