Where to find Cremia (the best soft serve ice cream) in Tokyo

Where to find Cremia (the best soft serve ice cream) in Tokyo

Cremia is argubaly the best soft serve ice cream in Japan. Find out where it’s served in Tokyo in this guide.

What is Cremia?

Cremia was developed to be a premium soft serve ice cream and has garnered many fans (including me). It consists of 25% Hokkaido fresh cream and 12.5% high milk fat, this unique mixture creates a full, rich flavour with a silky texture.

Instead of a traditional waffle cone, a thin crispy langue de chat cone is used adding to the premium experience.

Where to find it?

Unfortunately, finding Cremia isn’t straight forward and easy – as there’s no official website listing the locations. Luckily for you, I’ve managed to find a few places serving this delectable dessert!

CaFe’ LA MILLE

This cosy cafe is conveniently situated near Shinjuku station and offers Cremia for takeaway and sitting down.

Ruby Cafe (Venus Fort)

If you’re exploring the Odaiba area, make sure to pop by Ruby Cafe in the VenusFort shopping centre. Not only do they serve 4 flavours of Cremia, they also sell Cremia Floats!

The cafe is located in the food court and a short walk from teamLab Borderless.

Funawa Nakamise Shop 3

Located along the bustling Nakamise Shopping Street leading up to Sensō-ji temple, this shop serves Cremia alongside traditional Japanese sweets such as mochi and dorayaki.

FaSoLa Cafe

If you’ve missed out on Cremia ice cream while in Tokyo, make sure to head to FaSoLa Cafe at Narita Airport Terminal 2 before you fly back home!

The cafe can be found in the middle of the corridor that connects the main Terminal 2 building with the Satellite building.

Excelsior Caffe at Narita Airport

Also at Narita Airport Terminal 2 is Excelsior Caffe, a Japanese coffee chain but only this store sells Cremia.

Kawaguchiko Music Forest Museum

Bonus location: for any travellers visiting Lake Kawaguchiko to see Mount Fuji, you can get your Cremia fix at the Kawaguchiko Music Forest Museum.

    Hello Chris,

Great blog you have here! I stumbled upon the airport location when sadly leaving Japan.

There are two additional places you can find this magical ice cream:

    1. Gundam Base Tokyo (inside the Aqua City Mall)
    ダイバーシティ東京 プラザ
    青海1-1-10
    7F
    Koto, 東京都 〒135-0064

    Daiba Station

    2. Sapporo Stall (Tanukikoji Shopping Street) very discreet booth within a home remedy store.
    23 5 Chome, 5丁目 南2条西 中央区 札幌市 北海道 060-0062, Japan

    Cheers!

Thank you so much for posting this! I absolutely love Cremia! I had it at the Hibiki Park restaurant with the little Asian tricycle on the front; also at the Herb Hall in Lawaguchiko. There’s also one in Shibuya at this address: 53-17, Sendagaya 3-Chōme
    Shibuya, Tokyo
    Japan 151-0051

Hibiya Saroh at Hibiya Park. The other is in Kawaguchiko, not Lawaguchico 🙂
