Club Sea Sala Leonardo – Lounge Review – Milan Linate Airport

Club Sea Sala Leonardo lounge is a clean, modern lounge offering travellers a quiet respite from Milan Linate Airport.

Name

Club SEA Sala Leonardo at Milan Linate Airport

Location

The Club SEA Sala Leonardo lounge is located near gates 17 and 18. You’ll need to head up a set of stairs as the lounge is on the 2nd floor.

Access

I was able to access the lounge thanks to my Priority Pass membership (which I receive as a benefit of my American Express Platinum Card). The lounge also services passengers/members of:

  • Club SEA
  • Brussels airline
  • Air Italy
  • Dragon Pass
  • Lounge Club
  • LoungeKey

The opening hours are 5:30 am – 9:00pm daily.

Space

Measuring 480 square metres, the lounge can seat 90 passengers in total. There was an eclectic mix of furniture grouped around coffee tables that sectioned off the spacious lounge.

Guests after more privacy should head to the back of the lounge where it was quieter. Also at the rear were clean, modern toilets although no shower facilities were available.

Dining

Food at the lounge consisted mainly of sandwiches and pastries. The quality of the sandwiches varied greatly with some genuinely delicious and others bland and slightly sad looking.

In addition, there were several snacks on offer including chips (my favourite were the Amica Rustica) , fruit and biscuits.

Drinks were self serve and included soft drinks, beer, wine and spirits. There was also numerous large bottles of sparkling and still water, we are in Italy after all!

Drinks at Club SEA Sala Leonardo

My favourite drink was the Caffè d’orzo from the coffee machine, having never tried the barley drink before I was pleasantly surprised by the rich earthy flavour.

Work

There was no dedicated work space in the lounge but power points were abundant and the WiFi was solid.

Verdict

Although not a premium lounge, the Club Sea Sala Leonardo lounge is more than adequate for travellers looking for a space to relax or work.
